The Beautifully Red Player of the Month (Nov) is…

November saw Manchester United clock up 5 wins and 2 losses (still no draws this season) that helped see them seal qualification into the Knock-out stages of the Champions League and go top of the Premier League table.

For me there have been 2 players in particular to stand out during November, Javier Hernandez who scored 4 times including his spectacular impact to help come from behind to beat Aston Villa, and Brazilian midfielder Anderson.

Anderson provided lots of great moments that featured on this site during for November and for that reason, I am awarding him the Beautifully Red Player of the Month.

Here are his Top 5 GIF Moments to appear on the site…

5 United GIFs from the Reading win feat Evans, Evra and RVP

Manchester United took full advantage of dropped points by their nearest rivals by going home from their trip to Reading with all 3 points.
They didn’t do it the easy way however, as seems common practice for United this season they went behind, twice, but as they have shown all season are capable of scoring goals to come back. A crazy first half saw the Reds go in at half time 4-3 up!
A clean sheet the in the 2nd half followed to ensure United went to Manchester City next weekend with a 3 points advantage.

All 4 Goals involved some brilliant play, but moments of beauty were hard to come by in a 2nd half were United kept tight and looked to keep Reading out. I have however, found my Top 5 GIF moments from the game…

5 Beautiful GIFs from the West Ham game feat. Anderson, Rafael & more

Manchester United made it 2 home wins from 2 for the week with a 1-0 win over West Ham United to keep them top top of the table.
Injuries and suspension limited Sir Alex Fergusons options as he again choose to use the Diamond formation seen several times this season.
Anderson got a deserved start after some nice cameos and did well. Failing to find the 2nd goal meant a very nervy second half, but our defence was superb with the 3 younger players Rafael, Evans and Smalling excelling.

It was a game of very few chances, but United created some great moments of beauty. Here are my Top 5 GIFs from the game…

[GIFS] MUFC v QPR: 5 of Uniteds best moments from the game

Manchester United overcome yet another poor start to a game to win 3 points and remain top of the league.
United continued their recent trend of conceding the first goal, but reacted quickly (and with good impacts of the subs bench) to score 3 goals, and ensure victory.
Darren Fletcher got his first League start of the campaign, and got himself on the score sheet too, in what was one of feel good moments of the season so far.

United were at slow pace for the first half and it was not until a goal down and the introduction of Javier Hernandez and Anderson that United started to play with more directness and pace to their attacks. Its like this we see United at their best.

There were lots of great moments throughout, here are my Top 5 GIFs of the game…

5 Beautiful United GIF moments from the Galatasaray game

With qualification to the next round of the Champions League already achieved, Manchester United took the opportunity to rest several key players, give the fringe players a start and let some of our youngsters experience what is widely regarded as one the most intimidating atmospheres in European football – Galatasaray away.

United lost 1-0, but will take comfort from the performance against a volatile crowd and a  Galatasaray team knowing they had to win to keep their own qualification hopes alive.

Nick Powell made his first European start for the Reds, and despite a nervy start and some misplaced places didn’t look out of place. He played his game, wanted the ball and made clever runs and passes in his time on the pitch.
There were other bright moments too, the return of Phil Jones, and the efforts shown by Cleverley, Welbeck and Co on a tough night, away in Europe.

Despite the loss, United did have some good moments, here are my Top 5 GIFs from the game…

[GIFS] Amazing Anderson skill + more GIFs from CFC v MUFC

Man Utd were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by a strong Chelsea side after a brilliant  game of football. It finished 5-4 after Extra Time with United seconds away from winning in the 90 minutes.
United used this game as a chance to give their squad and few youngsters valuable minutes and they did themselves proud. Whilst Chelsea finished with the likes of Hazard and Oscar, United ended with a spine of Wotton, Keane, Tunnicliffe and Powell. They all put in great shifts and would have learnt vital lessons from the game.

Just like the League fixture a few days back, it was a pulsating tie with lots of great moments. Here are my top 5 GIFs
