12 GIFs of Cantona: No 4 – *That* pass…

On the 4th GIF of Cantona, Beautfully Red gave to me…

…a sublime pass to assist your full back.

After already scoring Uniteds first goal, Eric Cantona produced this moment of class to set up a 2nd Reds goal.

Denis Irwin lays the ball off to Eric Cantona and then makes a run into the box. Did he know what Cantona would do next? Not many did, as he plays a first time chip with the outside of his boot that spins up and into the run of the Irish Full Back who takes one touch and then finishes with aplomb.
Two further goals from Brian McClair and Paul Parker in the space of 5 minutes helped United go and beat Spurs 4-1.

Watch Cantona talk about this moment in this clip from the film ‘Looking For Eric’
