The October ‘GIF Moment’ of the Month Winner is…

Thank you to everyone who voted and shared the Poll. Your votes have been counted and the results of the October GIF Moment of the Month are, in reverse order…

5th (3% of the votes) Robin van Persie Skill (v Braga)

4th (14%) Rafael attacks (v Newcastle)

3rd (24%) Anderson skill (v Chelsea)

2nd (27%) Javier Hernandez Play & Pass (v Braga)

Which makes, your winner, and GIF Moment of October…

Winner (33%) David de Gea save (v Chelsea)

After his stunning save from Juan Mata in the this fixture last season, Chelsea players will be sick of De Gea after yet another class save to deny them at Stamford Bridge. This time he shows great reactions and reflexes to not only get to the ball, but to claw it away.

A worthy winner, as I mentioned in the voting thread, I’d have happily voted for him but it’s starting to become the norm. He is a phenomenal shot-stopper, and for me, the save against Chelsea last season is, even after the 20 years official EPL vote (for where it didn’t even appear as a nominee), the best save I’ve seen in the Premier League.

October such a good month for quality of options.. shame November hasn’t started too strongly!
