GIF Moment of the Month (Oct) Poll – Vote your favourite!

October saw Man United produce plenty of moments of high quality and drama over their League, European and Cup fixtures that month.

I have decided to not include any goals scored, and instead focus on other beautiful moments to have occurred during the games.

Here are my top 5 selections of the GIF moments to appear on Beautifully Red in October. Relive each one and then vote for your favoutite in the poll below.

1. Rafael attacks (v Newcastle)

If his shot had found the far corner, this would have been one of my favourite ever goals. As it is, it goes down as a brilliant moment. Pass from De Gea is controlled on the chest by Rafael who then flicks it over his man and charges forward. He plays a 1-2 before hitting a great first time effort which narrowly misses the far post.

2. Robin van Persie Skill (v Braga)

Sublime skill by Van Persie sees him attack the Braga box before being fouled. Advantage was played and United scored. Great skill.

3. Javier Hernandez Play & Pass (v Braga)

Brilliant play by Hernandez as he shows his strength and desire to get around the defender before playing a sublime pass to Nani with the outside of his boot.

4. David de Gea save (v Chelsea)

After his stunning save from Juan Mata in the this fixture last season, Chelsea players will be sick of De Gea after yet another class save to deny them at Stamford Bridge. This time he shows great reactions and reflexes to not only get to the ball, but to claw it away.

5. Anderson skill (v Chelsea)

Anderson, who has shown glimpses of his best during October, produced this wonderful moment in the Capital One Cup tie with Chelsea. After a controlling the ball he flicks it over the Chelsea players head, turns and plays a first time pass. Class.

So there are your 5 nominees, vote for your favourite in the poll below…

I also really struggled to pick. Went for the Hernandez move though. The determination and touch were fantastic. Also seems to have led to his best run of form in quite some time as an added bonus.

  2. NokkonWud

I have an absolute love for Rafael, who has been one of the best performers this season (and I’m not talking about just at Man Utd) and Anderson who, when fit, can be unplayable, so I had to pick one of those two. I would have normally gone for De Gea but that save is nothing out of the norm for him (although you wouldn’t believe it if you listened to the media, yet we’d hear no end of it if Joe Hart made one like that — but he’s currently busy letting direct headers trickle through his arms) so I didn’t pick it.

It wasn’t easy, but, in the end I went with Anderson who has put in some absolutely dominant performances this season and can’t be far off a (deserved) starting berth.

Totally agree about De Gea, he seems to make a vital and amazing save every game he plays!

I too love Rafael, who has been brilliant this season. Check out the latest post on who has a ace Rafael post!

      That Anderson skill was brilliant!

      Thanks for voting 🙂

  4. AMK

Tough. Went for Ando in the end. His form has been spectacular recently. Wish SAF would start him in the league more often.
