29/9/12 Man Utd v Spurs: 5 Beautiful GIF Moments

United suffered their 2nd loss of the season as Spurs finally broke their Old Trafford hoodoo and won 3-2 in a pulsating game.
Spurs dominated a very poor Man Utd performance in the first half and deservedly went into the break 2-0 up.
United changed tactics in the 2nd half and introduced Wayne Rooney which instantly upped their game as United got back into the it. Sloppy play saw Spurs restore a 2 goal cushion before less than minute later United made it 3-2.

Despite all the possession (Spurs made only 35 passes in the 2nd half) and a host of chances, United did not find the equaliser and will travel to Newcastle next week in need of a bounce back performance.

Here are my 5 GIFs of the game…

1 Paul Scholes chest pass

As you should know by now, I love a good chest pass and Paul Scholes gave us one to enjoy. We were also treated to another later in the game as Rio Ferdinand showed off a lovely chest pass.

2. Paul Scholes pass, Nani shoulder pass

Delicious long ball from Paul Scholes and a first time shoulder pass from Nani. Brilliant all round.

3. Rafael flick pass, Scholes overhead pass

Brilliant pieces of play by both Rafael and Scholes saw Nani put in on goal only to be pulled to the ground by the Spurs defender. Penalty not given.

4. Rooney first time pass

Lovely ’round the corner’ first time pass from Wayne Rooney into the run of Rafael

5. Paul Scholes pass, Nani head control

Another typical Scholes pass finds the run of Nani who does brilliantly to control it with a header.

Bonus – The Man Utd GIF Goals

Nani makes it 1-2
Shinji Kagawa makes it 2-3

More Bonus GIFs

Robin van Persie flick
Carrick pass, Van Persie chance
Wayne Rooney Free Kick hits the bar
Nice Van Persie pass, Kagawa control
