25/8/12 Manchester United v Fulham: 5 Beautiful GIF Moments

Man United looked to bounce back from their opening day defeat with a win at home to a Fulham side who were on the high of a 5-0 win in their opening fixture.

Man United made it tough on themselves, and Fulham put up a real fight, but United ended 3-2 winners to get their season up and running.

The Beautifully Red picks of the game were

1. Robin van Persie Goal GIF

Robin van Persie scored his first Manchester United goal and it was a beauty. Great movement in the box and a sweet as you like hit half volley into the far corner. Stunning.

2. Antonio Valencia Nutmeg Pass

Valencia has done this before (v QPR), as he lines up his defender and simply passes the ball through his legs to Van Persie. Cheeky.

3. David De Gea Skill

Brilliant footwork by De Gea to get away from the Fulham attacker after receiving a back pass.

4. Rafael play, Kagawa hits the post

Rafael had a brilliant attacking game, and this is demonstrated here as he shows a lovely spin to get into the box and then unselfishly finds Kagawa. I love the footwork by Shinji Kagawa to find the space to sidefoot a shot that hits the post.

5. Ashley Young touch

Beautiful touch control by Ashley Young to control a difficult high pass from Anderson.
