25/7/12 Shanghai Shenhua v Manchester United: 5 Beautiful Moments (GIFs)

Uniteds pre season moved to China for one game against Shanghai Shenhua. United handed a first start to Nick Powell as well as seeing Shingi Kagawa start again. Both players impressed as United eventually overcame a very defensive Chinese side to win 1-0

Despite seeing only 1 goal, there was plenty of nice football. Here are 5 of those moments

1. Anderson pass, Valencia control and skill

Anderson hits a glorious cross-field pass that Antonio Valencia instantly controls before using his acceleration to beat his man. Unfortunately the next defender crowded him out and stopped the attack.

2. Kagawa nutmeg

Shinji Kagawa, who was named MOTM had another excitingly promising game, displaying once again his clever brain and feet throughout. Here he uses this to effect to cheekily nutmeg the defender

3. Lindegaard saves

Anders Lindergaard had very little to do whilst on the pitch but when he was needed he pulled off a fantastic save, spreading himself to deflect a 1 on 1 shot over the bar.

4. Kagawa play, Macheda chance

Kagawa with yet more great play as his great feet sees him away from the defender, drives forward and plays the perfect pass for Macheda to advance 1 on 1 with the keeper who makes a good save.

5. Kagawa GOAL!

Shinji Kagawa scoring his first, of what you would hope, would be many a goal for Manchester United. Great play by Bebe to set him up and Kagawa fires home the winner.

BONUS

Petrucci pass, Powell chance
Three more Petrucci passes
